Quando e come è potuto succedere che la mediocrità sia diventata la regola nel mondo del clubbin?
Personamente non ascolto musica perchè è carino: ma perchè ho bisogno di ritmo e melodia, suoni e pulsazioni che trasudino passione e poesia. E per fortuna c'è ancora la possibilità di festeggiare come si deve per chi non può proprio adeguarsi agli standard.

A volte credo che quello che sento tramite le liriche e la musica dei Joy Division sia solo un milionesimo di ciò che sentiva Ian Curtis.
Forse non riuscirò mai a capirlo fino in fondo e temo che se ci provassi forse sarei inghiottito dall'oscurità che ha inghiottito lui...

E' così mi sono sentito guardando Control, pochi giorni fa: un po' immedesimato ma soprattutto incapace di capire.

Ciò nonostante continuerò a fare tesoro per molto tempo ancora della musica che Ian Curtis e i Joy Division hanno lasciato.
